Job Description:

Manages budget preparation including estimate at complete information on Department of Defense contracts, develops work breakdown structures; tracks and monitors project costs, sales, and earnings and provides periodic variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring; working capital monitoring and analysis, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts. Ensures program compliance with corporate policies including Sarbanes/Oxley requirements.


Required Skills:

  • Requires a related university degree of equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures e.g., Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good teaming abilities.
  • Good critical thinking and analysis skills with complicated and sometimes vague data.
  • Consistent goal and commitment achievement skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Federal/Department of Defense contracts and practices
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business System
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Analysis/Management (EVA/EVM)
  • Working knowledge of Micro-frame Program Manager (MPM)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Required Education:
  • Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
