Manages budget preparation including estimate at complete information on Department of Defense contracts, develops work breakdown structures; tracks and monitors project costs, sales, and earnings and provides periodic variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring; working capital monitoring and analysis, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts. Ensures program compliance with corporate policies including Sarbanes/Oxley requirements.
Requires a related university degree of equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures e.g., Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Budgeting and variance analysis.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good teaming abilities.
Good critical thinking and analysis skills with complicated and sometimes vague data.
Consistent goal and commitment achievement skills.
Working knowledge of Federal/Department of Defense contracts and practices
Working knowledge of SAP Business System
Working knowledge of Earned Value Analysis/Management (EVA/EVM)
Working knowledge of Micro-frame Program Manager (MPM)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
