An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Life Support Equipment Technician to join Raytheon Australia's Air Warfare Centre Support Services (AWCSS) team at the RAAF Base Edinburgh. Our highly skilled team provides aircraft maintenance and servicing, operational and armament support, non-standard modifications services and electrical / mechanical component manufacturing in support of the AWC fleet of aircraft. Accountable to the Aircraft Operations Manager, your mission will be to maintain the serviceability and availability of vital aircraft life support equipment in support of flying operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational, routine, special and storage servicing of Aircraft Life Support Aeronautical product
  • Incorporation of Special Technical Instructions, modifications and non-standard modifications
  • Unscheduled maintenance, marshalling, mooring and ground handling of aircraft
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Operational Level Maintenance of Life Support Aeronautical product
  • Understanding of and compliance with Australian Air Publications 7001.059 and 7001.053 (AM1) Regulations 4 and 5
  • Ability to work to and comply with the requirements of Australian Defence Standard 9022
  • MEA 30315 Certificate III in Aircraft Life Support and Furnishing or Australian Defence Force Life Support Fitter Certificate
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
