Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) is seeking a Test Engineer. This position will report to the Receiver Exciter and Signal Processing (RESP) Department in the Electrical Design Directorate (EDD), supporting the Multi-Function RF System (MFRFS) product line located in McKinney, Texas.
Job responsibilities include upgrades to existing unit-level and system-level test equipment and software, writing test specifications, developing test solutions for new designs, integrating the test solutions, and documenting the test solutions. The successful candidate will possess technical skills in electrical system development, design, and test verification capabilities. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineering teams.
This role can be Salary Grade G08 or G09 depending on the Candidate's skills and experience.
•4+ years applicable professional experience required
•Experience testing digital and RF circuitry and using PC-based testing
•Familiar with Digital, Analog and RF Instrumentation tools (Oscilloscope, DMM, Counter, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter)
•Experience with Labview and Test Stand
•Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance
•6+ years applicable professional experience for G09
•Experience as Test/Hardware Lead
•Knowledge of HW/SW Integration & Test Processes and Procedures
•Experience using ProE/Creo Schematic for electrical design
•Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 4+ years of related work experience or 12+ years of related work experience in lieu of a STEM degree
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
