As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the Interim Secret Security Clearance needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.

Job Description:
The selected candidate will be actively involved in the day to day functions of NTx Material Validation - Receiving Inspection and Test (RIT) team. He / She will be responsible for the validation of Nonconformances on incoming material received at the North Building. They will be responsible for resolving and transactional processing technical issues found by RIT. Selected candidate will act as a centralized technical interface between NTx Material Validation and Suppliers. They will also interface with the program for all technical issues regarding those part issues (Drawing Interpretation, Inspection Requirements, Defect identification). He / She will provide validation and disposition of actual defects for both Hardware and Documentation Quality Notifications (QN). They will participate in robust investigation of internal receiving inspection escapes to prevent future occurrences. The selected candidate must apply and maintain quality standards for processing material to ensure compliant material is delivered to the program in support of the build/assembly process. The selected candidate will also participate in root cause and corrective action activities for materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

  • Possess interpersonal skills that support broad influence and interaction with suppliers, engineering personnel, and managers.
  • Effectively utilizes standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Experience producing effective presentations of project plans, status, issues, and actions.
  • Exhibits exceptional teaming ability.
  • High energy, self-starter with ability to perform work under general direction.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of specification and requirements management practices.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
  • SAP/PRISM experience.

Required Education (including major): Must have a BS / BA with a major in Engineering, Science, Math, or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
