Job Description: The Professional Development and Cost Project Manager will be responsible for managing strategic projects and professional development of our SAS Mission Assurance (MA) employees. This role will report into the Sr Mgr of Innovation and Learning.

Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for interventions and problem solving with leadership and HR. This role will have oversite and be the project manager for both the process and budget for the MA certification program (MACP), Intern and College Hire Program, RELDP liaison with corporate, ELDP Support, MA Talent rotation (MATR), EiET, and Tech Honors. Additionally, will provide process support to the Educational Reimbursement program.

Additionally, this role will executive on staffing budgets, SAS & MA Corrective Action Board execution, trend analysis, LMS learning lead, and cost analysis for MA. This will include being part of the MA initiatives and expense management. This role may also develop in-house innovative learning programs. This role will collaborate with all levels in the organizations.

Required Skills:

  • Candidate must possess a minimum of 8 years related experience in Mission Assurance, Learning, and Cost management.
  • Experience in data mining and analysis to provide trends and improvement opportunities
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate across organizations.
  • Broad knowledge of information technology systems (business, engineering, manufacturing, and financial).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team based cross-functional environment.
  • Strong team and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success), in support of customer concerns
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • Project management experience which includes project development, execution, and strong problem solving
  • Ability to think strategically and determine long-term impact of decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and cost

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Raytheon processes such as IPDS, EVMS, R6s, shop floor management & MRP system.
  • Experience in a fast paced process environment.
  • Experience with process development and continuous improvement.
  • R6s Specialist or equivalent, with ability to become an R6s Expert
  • MA Certification or ability to achieve
  • Experience with time approval
  • Experience with planning and management of pools, staffing, CABs
