Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is admired in the industry for discriminating focal plane arrays based sensor solutions. As a Product Engineer for RVS at the Lompoc Facility, this individual will lead a multifunctional team to develop advanced Focal Plane Arrays (FPA) and 3D products. Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for the overall technical plan and management of design, manufacture, test, and delivery of visible FPA, 3D integration and/or MEMS programs at the RVS Lompoc 200 mm Silicon wafer fabrication facility.

Required Skills:

  • 4 years’ of experience
  • Semiconductor wafer processing in a cleanroom environment
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication techniques
  • Experience with Team Leadership, Integrated Program/Project Planning
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Technical writing ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint applications
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date

  • Ability to do comprehensive Test Data Analysis
  • Knowledge of MEMS fabrication and processing techniques
  • ROIC Design & Operation Radiometric
  • Performance metrics specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing)
  • Knowledge of SiPIN detector fabrication and operation
  • Knowledge of Design Verification
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments and SPC
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material Control
  • Understanding of Yield Issues and analysis
  • Understanding of Bids and Proposals
  • EVMS Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project application


Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.

Desired Education: Master’s or PhD in Engineering or Science.
