  • Work closely with the ManTech Program Manager, Gov't and Prime customer, technical leads, and technical program staff to meet contract and program staffing and performance needs.
  • Be responsible as the primary point of contact with the customer, in Theater, for all matters regarding the program.
  • Act as the resource manager for a technical staff of 11 ManTech employees.
  • Be responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of program technical staff, to include coaching and employee development and regular reviews.
  • Provide oversight and approval of employee time reporting and charging, and ensure compliance with ManTech time reporting policies.
  • Provide direct support to the Program Manager for program reporting, deliverables, and staff management.
  • Scan the network, report and brief the scan results.
  • Provide guidance to the Authorizing Official (AO) and Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM).
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce a formal training program for users and the information assurance (IA) workforce in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
  • Ensure dissemination, reporting, compliance, and verification processes and procedures are effective and efficient.
  • Oversee security violations and incident handling, as completed by subordinate organizations, in accordance with policy.
  • Advise and audit configuration management and change control processes to ensure a secure baseline.
  • Utilize IA and computer network defense (CND) tools and processes to conduct inspections, assessments, tests, and audits.
  • Oversee IA policies and compliance as related to Program Managed (PM) and Programs of Record (POR).
  • Assess theater IA and CND programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and with regional IA managers, higher headquarters, and subordinate units on IA and CND policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Certification and Accreditation personnel for PM or POR systems on the network to ensure compliance with accreditation documentation and status.
  • Manage and work information assurance help desk tickets, and coordinate with regional IAMs and subordinate units.


  • Requires Bachelor's degree in (field mathematics,telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science) or eight to ten years of overall IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with DoD vulnerability management scanning and patching tools (i.e. Retina, ACAS, WSUS, GFi, etc.).
  • Managerial experience providing technical advice, organizing, planning, directing and managing staff to ensure goals and objectives are achieved is required.
  • Experience with the direct management and supervision in a variety of labor categories and skills is required.
  • Experience with risk management, issue resolution, and problem solving is required.
  • Must have a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification.
  • Requires a Top Secret security clearance.
  • At least 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Background shall include a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing IAM work within the CENTCOM AOR, and a minimum of seven (7) years of cybersecurity management and technical experience with DoD networks.
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
