  • In this role, the Product Director (PD) will workwith the Product Architects and Client Product Leads, Release Managers, ProductOwners, Scrum Masters and other internal and external stakeholders, to supportdevelopment of Agile Product Vision and Roadmap, with the goal of building thebest viable product for the customer. The ADO PD works with project teams to ensure that business, quality andfunctional goals are met with each product release.The ADO PD, working withthe CPO & Client Product Lead, develops and maintains a vision for theproduct and is responsible for communicating that vision to the scrum team.
  • The ideal candidate is someone with strongtechnical skills and knowledge combined with the ability to clearly communicatetechnical concepts, but with enough business acumen to prioritize initiativesand work with senior management on tradeoffs.
  • Work with internal and externalstakeholders to ensure business needs are being articulated and definedappropriately.
  • Elaborate features with businessintent and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist teams in breaking downfeatures into user stories.
  • Work with the release managementteam to deliver releases.
  • Assist the Product Lead andProduct Management in the development and communication of the Product vision androadmap.
  • Help Product Leads understandthe program backlog so they can manage and prioritize the flow of work.
  • Work with Product Architect tounderstand product architecture and Enabler work.
  • Understand and support portfoliowork.
  • Own the Product Backlog andparticipate in Agile grooming sessions.
  • Serve as a product expert,understanding user workflow; and working with Development to deliver solutionsto meet end user needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to owna complex solution including future release development and integration.
  • Experience working within theScaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience writing requirementsand manage others driving requirements through the full SDLC. Includes businessrequirements, functional design, test plans, implementation plans, and canreview and understand technical design.
  • Technical understanding ofdatabases, flow diagrams, some ability to read code and scripts.
  • Ability to own and drive defecttriage and prioritization.
  • Experience with managing thecreation and grooming of user stories and defining acceptance criteria inScrum.
  • Excellent communication andPartnership skills.
  • Hands on experience with Agilepractices, Scrum process, Kanban etc.
  • Proven leadership experience inIT delivery.
  • Deep understanding andexperience of web technologies, user experience modeling/evolution etc.Understanding of mobile technologies will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Systems DevelopmentLifecycle and the Project Management Lifecycle.
  • Business savviness and abilityto identify potential business and product opportunities.
  • Experience with Product Roadmapdevelopment and influencing key stake holders for buy in on businesspriorities.
