This is an opportunity for a logistics or property professional to join a team of Property Management professionals at the Raytheon Fullerton, CA facility. As a Sr. Property Administrator, you’ll execute to documented IDS property procedures to drive accountability and results. You’ll be responsible for meeting customer expectations along with maintaining an approved property control system in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), and Company directives and procedures.

This role is heavily focused on administration of the official Government Property Records Database for Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business.The ability to understand and implement Customer contractual requirements in a manner which fully supports compliance is of key importance.

Responsibilities include frequent interface with contract managers, program managers, property custodians as well as property professionals with Raytheon’s other businesses to ensure compliance with contracts, government regulations, Company directives/procedures and sound business practices.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist/lead DCMA and FAA audits
  • Participate in Transition and Closure Planning - Gate 11 Independent Reviews
  • Perform contract closeout activities for Prime accountable to Fullerton
  • Maintain and control records for identified Government/Customer property for all ten performance outcomes (Acquisition through Property Closeout).
  • Create documentation for the movement and disposition of Government/Customer owned property
  • Execute audits internally and at subcontractors, including FAR elements

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of supply chain, logistics, contract management or property management experience.
  • Direct experience with control and accountability of government property.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of the FAR as it pertains to Government Property.
  • Experience with Government contracts, both cost type and fixed price.
  • Knowledge of the ten performance outcomes of a property management system (Acquisition through Contract Property closeout and the requirements for compliance in these areas).
  • Highly computer literate with solid ability to learn computer applications, including advanced query tools within multiple software applications.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detailed Oriented.
  • Ability and desire to function in a challenging, fast paced, team setting.
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Property Management Certifications – CPPS, CPPA, CPPM.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
