The successful candidate must be able to support the sustainment of fielded units to a high level of customer satisfaction. The candidate must have a proven ability to establish and grow key customer relationships to meet program goals while leveraging such relationships to overcome difficult Customer situations. This position requires a current U.S. SECRET security clearance.

Roles and responsibilities include:

Management of Personnel
  • Leadership of a diverse group of over 100 deployed employees in a restrictive International environment – many employees are in remote locations requiring occasional travel and daily communication from the T&TS Manager
  • Identifying issues and coordinating solutions to correct operational defects of HAWK & Patriot assets
  • Interfacing with military Customer
Patriot Equipment Readiness Status
  • Support weekly briefing of RSADF Maintenance & Technical Support Depot Commander.
  • Provide input as required for program responses to official customer inquiries, to include drafting letters to the RSADF Leadership to shape/direct the program and to respond to official customer inquiries.
  • Work closely with Raytheon sustainment personnel to address fielded system issues as needed to quickly restore systems to an operational state.
  • Coordinate US engineering reach back support as needed to ensure rapid issue resolution
Identifying & Managing Required Resources
  • Perform Logistics Management Analysis with available data & tools
  • Advise Customer on manpower selection, distribution and assignment
  • Interface in parallel to Customer channels to ensure required materials are in the right spot at the right time to maintain Operational Availability

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 10+ years of field engineering/engineering experience in aerospace/defense systems technical domains
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement and metrics
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse employee and dependent population
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle, and obtain a Saudi Arabian driver license
  • Ability to travel (unescorted as appropriate) by air and car throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all RAYMES locations
  • Current SECRET level security clearance
  • Excellent communication skills - experience in preparing and delivering briefings to employees, Customers and management
  • Knowledge of US Export/Import policies, regulations and processes
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills including leading matrixes teams
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with all levels of the organization, including foreign government customers, subcontractors, engineering organizations, IPT members, Supply Chain Management, and supporting functional organizations

Desired Skills:
  • Direct Commercial Sales experience
  • Proficiency in Arabic language (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Experience with Customer interaction in MENA
  • Experience with Patriot and/or HAWK Systems hardware

Required Education (including Major):

Technical School Graduate from US military with no less than 10 years of relevant experience, including sufficient work background to effectively support a complex global program.

Desired Educations (including Major):

Bachelor degree in a scientific or engineering field of study

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
