GDIT is hiring a Business Operations Administrator in support of the Defense & Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC). S/he follows the guidance of the DVBIC Lead Program Manager. S/he will assist the Lead Program Manager to facilitate information flow between DVBIC Leadership, site program managers, government, contract staff and the contract company throughout DVBIC HQ and the Network Sites. S/he will assist the Lead Program Manager oversee and execute the network contract personnel actions, workflow and operational procedures as outlined in contract requirements.
Performs duties under the guidance of the DVBIC Lead Program Manager.
Assists the Lead Program Manager with the facilitation of information flow between DVBIC Leadership, site program managers, government and contract staff and contract company throughout DVBIC HQ and the Network Sites.
Provides contract staff direct or indirect administrative supervision.
Direct, organize, review and compile monthly, quarterly and end of the year reports for the DVBIC sites.
Ensures site deliverable requirements are submitted on time.
Assists and facilitates site program managers with their site’s organization chart and personnel staffing roster.
Completes personnel actions as requested and/or required.
Assists with the compliance of all contract requirements, schedules and provisions.
Assists with the preparation of an agenda for scheduled program manager’s meetings.
Provides minutes of the scheduled program manager’s meetings to the site program managers.
Maintains and organize soft/hard copy shared files.
Manage, arrange and schedule meetings for the Lead Program Managers
Non Primary Responsibilities:
Other duties consistent with the above responsibilities.
5+ years in related experience working with government agencies, contracting and programs required.
Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care strongly preferred.
Knowledge of the duties, priorities, commitments, policies and program goals of the organization is required.
Ability to use sound judgment in problem solving and excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
Ability to coordinate complex issues at any given time required.
Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative and strong attention to details.
Must adhere to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy.
Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a T3 security investigation.
Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to carry light items up to 25 lbs.
May encounter patients who are confused, agitated, or abusive
