- The Event Manager is responsible for providing communications and coordination support for the Monitoring and Event Management team for the USCEMTCOM Enterprise Operations Center.
- Primary responsibility includes collecting information on outages, issues, and events as they occur on the USCENTCOM enterprise.
- Activities shall encompass reporting, escalating, and coordinating activities as well as communicating on behalf of J6-S to the customer and senior C4ES leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as the communications focal point for C4ES and a direct communications conduit for the Enterprise Operations Center to monitor, track, and resolve outages, issues, and events
- Collect information on outages, issues, and events as they occur
- Provide timely and precise communications regarding events to the Enterprise Operations Center watch officers, senior government leadership, and C4ES leadership
- Coordinate and facilitate troubleshooting efforts between disparate technology groups
- Support Change Deployment activities and process requirements
- Develop After Action Reports to provide root cause analysis and problem prevention regarding system and network outages and issues
- Support Systems and Network Monitoring Technicians with after-hours Service Desk support, VIP support, and outage/incident response
- Support Enterprise Operations Center requirements as needed

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- SECRET; able to obtain Top Secret/SCI
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience; OR, High School equivalent and 6+ years of experience.
- 2 years direct IT related experience
- Security + CE certification (8570 Requirement)
- Proficient in Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to work shift work including nights/weekends/holidays
- Active passport and the ability to travel overseas on short notice

Preferences:
- 5 years direct IT related experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 1 year experience with SCOM/SCCM
- 1 year experience handling Service Desk calls
- TS/SCI clearance (DoD)

Desired Qualification: Experience related to Military Occupation Codes: 3D014, 94F
