Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Classification Policy and Guidance Manager, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. As the Classification Policy and Guidance Manager, you will support the Classification Management Functional Lead in the planning, management, and execution of a de-classification program involving policy development and implementation. You will specifically be responsible for executing the program’s Classification Management activities in guidance in accordance with National Security guidelines, ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order (EO) 13526 and other customer programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Identify and implement strategic improvements and suggest solutions that are consistent with the Customer's vision, mission, and ultimately the direction from the Customer.
•Have a thorough understanding of the Customer's business operations and maintain a current understanding of ongoing and planned changes or impacts to the business operations.
•Maintain an awareness of the strategic direction of Industry, Customer, and other government organizations applicable to the Customer's mission.
•Ensure adherence to both Industry and Customer standards and best practices.
•Ensure compliance to any applicable Customer boards and reviews.
•Attend, participate and report on operational meetings.
•Monitor and document activities to ensure execution of consistent processes and procedures.
•Support overall performance of Classification Management activities in meetings contract requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution.
• Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge.
• Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership.
• Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner.
• Research and write protection guidance products for customer programs and assets.


Security Clearance Requirement:
