Raytheon IIS is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) whose role will include, but not limited to, developing material strategies; preparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs); identifying and mitigating program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements; managing all program material proposal activities; achieving program material budget objectives; managing program purchase requirements to the SAP (MRP) lead time schedule; participating in Raytheon 6 Sigma projects (both supply Chain and program); resolving Supply Chain issues for the program and resolving program material cost problems. This MPM will support the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) programs. The WAAS Program customer is the FAA and job responsibilities include Control Account Manager (CAM) for SCM labor and related labor. The MPM is the focal point for all supply chain activities, including weekly status, P.O. follow-up, and invoice management. In addition the qualified candidate should meet the below requirements. The MPM will support front end of the business tasks and represent supply chain at gate reviews and brief the Supply Chain leadership team. Key responsibilities include: material sales forecasting; cost and schedule management, developing supply chain strategies and developing supply chain labor Basis of Estimate (BOE). The MPM will use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to insure business area and program success. This individual should be a self-starter and someone that is flexible and is able to work independently at a higher level. Some travel may be required.

• 6+ years of applicable experience acquired from working at Raytheon, or in government and commercial defense markets
• Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) supply chain processes and related systems subcontract management, logistics, and asset management
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and related systems along with material procurement
• Strong project management skills
• Proven ability to be a self-starter and quick learner, capable of supporting efforts to achieve
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead in an IPT environment
• Excellent risk management methodologies and problem solving techniques
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
• Working knowledge of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, Offset, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and public law
• Ability to convert business area and customer requirements into executable strategies
• Ability to write and review Subcontractor Statements of Works

Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System and Integrated Master Planning/Integrated Master Scheduling
• Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist / Six Sigma Green Belt

• Certified Level 4 Material Program Manager / Level 4 Subcontract Management
• Subcontracts Management Experience
• Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Wide PRISM and APEX system

• Working knowledge of Tableau, MS Project, Alteryx

Required Education (including Major):
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field. M.B.A. or M. S. preferred. Will consider combination of education and experience (Bachelor degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience)
