Raytheon is in need of a Facilities Engineer (HVAC) to support a very dynamic program in its’ facility in Sterling, Va. The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience to include data center operations and maintenance, experience with industrial HVAC cooling equipment, and building management systems.
Five plus years of experience in data center operations and maintenance on small to large scale facilities;
Five plus years of in depth experience with HVAC and cooling equipment such as Chillers, Computer Room Air Conditioners, In-Row coolers, Packaged A/C units, and Fan Coil units;
Knowledgeable in multiple disciplines: electrical, network, and/or computer;
Experience in coordinating with on-site technicians both locally and remotely, to troubleshoot and test various pieces of equipment.
Demonstrable experience in facility maintenance;
Ability to perform field startup and reoccurring maintenance on mechanical systems;
Verify preventative maintenance tasks and procedures to meet equipment specifications ;and requirements;
Familiar with computerized building management systems (our current system is Tracer SC, Trane);
Will be on call 24/7 for critical alarms in the facility (Sterling, VA)
Current TS/SCI with polygraph.
Certifications from primary HVAC vendors (Multistack, Schneider, Trane, etc)
In depth knowledge of electrical and power distribution systems
Demonstrable experience integrating/designing mechanical systems in new or existing facilities
Managed / supervised small teams of technicians/facilities personnel.
HS Diploma with trade school and 5 year experience in the field
Licensed HVAC technician
