This position will lead the process enhancement teams and collaborate with the Analytics and Reporting teams within the Space and Airborne (SAS) Supply Chain (SC) Business Operations Process Re-Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading process re-designs to transform the SAS cross functional supply chain processes and drive a collaborative culture of speed, agility, reduced variability, and increased accountability through innovative solutions to grow the business and increase competitive advantage.

This position is responsible for working with all functions, the SC Business Operations Technology Solutions team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to continuously improve the SC processes that benefit the entire SAS SC organization. The Senior Manager responsibilities include executing, facilitating and resourcing SC critical improvement projects.

The Senior Manager is also responsible for implementing process enhancements, closely working with Tech Solutions and Data Analytics teams, as well as cross SCM and cross functionally to ensure robust and efficient solution implementation. This position works closely with SAS Supply Chain Directors and with other functions regarding SC processes to understand business needs, implement improvements, and ensure the effective implementation of enterprise-wide SC solutions. This scope includes a significant change management leadership role to develop, mentor and motivate the supply chain workforce around SC process improvements. This role analyzes current business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processes and represents SAS SC to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.

In addition, building common processes and driving consistent performance across all aspects of the SAS Supply Chain organization is critical for success. With an enterprise perspective but with Business Unit focus, the successful candidate will be able to leverage his/her team to meet the demands of this exciting and challenging role.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 12 years of supply chain or related experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience as a Material Program Manager and/or Subcontracts/Procurement Manager. Must have solid knowledge of sourcing execution, SC related program support, financial acumen and overall supply chain operations including familiarity with subcontract administration, pricing, proposal support, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills, specifically related to managing Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams outside of a direct reporting structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers and to negotiate with internal stakeholders across the Raytheon businesses and cross- functional groups.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in developing key performance indicators and metrics, driving a culture to adopt technology enhancements, successful project management, leading process improvements, financial analysis of opportunities and creating effective communications
  • Proven ability to interface at all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with senior level internal and external customers, peers and team members
  • Strong application and current working knowledge of Raytheon’s key business systems and process including SAP PRISM.
  • Experience with some but not all of these tools: Rapid Response / Kinaxis, Tableau, SAP Xcelsius, Lumira and Web Intelligence, Microsoft Analytics for Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; strong presentation and organization skills
  • Skilled at handling multiple competing priorities with the ability to set priorities appropriately and quickly re-adjust when necessary
  • Familiarity with Compliance requirements, including working knowledge of U.S. Government Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFAR), Terms and Conditions, and Export/Import regulations
  • Familiarity with Raytheon’s Strategic Enterprise Aligned Commodities (SEAC) and ESPX Processes
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of Raytheon’s budget, schedule, and ROI processes impact to Materials Sales Processes
  • Data-driven approach with significant experience using metrics to drive performance

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Technical or a related field.
