This position will lead the process enhancement teams and collaborate with the Analytics and Reporting teams within the Space and Airborne (SAS) Supply Chain (SC) Business Operations Process Re-Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading process re-designs to transform the SAS cross functional supply chain processes and drive a collaborative culture of speed, agility, reduced variability, and increased accountability through innovative solutions to grow the business and increase competitive advantage.
This position is responsible for working with all functions, the SC Business Operations Technology Solutions team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to continuously improve the SC processes that benefit the entire SAS SC organization. The Senior Manager responsibilities include executing, facilitating and resourcing SC critical improvement projects.
The Senior Manager is also responsible for implementing process enhancements, closely working with Tech Solutions and Data Analytics teams, as well as cross SCM and cross functionally to ensure robust and efficient solution implementation. This position works closely with SAS Supply Chain Directors and with other functions regarding SC processes to understand business needs, implement improvements, and ensure the effective implementation of enterprise-wide SC solutions. This scope includes a significant change management leadership role to develop, mentor and motivate the supply chain workforce around SC process improvements. This role analyzes current business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processes and represents SAS SC to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
In addition, building common processes and driving consistent performance across all aspects of the SAS Supply Chain organization is critical for success. With an enterprise perspective but with Business Unit focus, the successful candidate will be able to leverage his/her team to meet the demands of this exciting and challenging role.
