The Product Support (PS) Western USA (WUSA) BD Manager is a part of the Navigation, Weather and Services (NWS) Mission Area Business Development organization. The WUSA BD Manager will report to the PS BD Lead and will functionally align to the Director, Product Support Missile & Airborne (NWS-PS-M&A) Business Area, and have primary responsibility for leading the business area in continued cultivation of internal RTN customers ( RMS, SAS), driving focused internal customer relationships, positioning the company for large opportunities/pursuits, within the Product Support portfolio in the area of Mission Operations, Maintenance, Sustainment, Engineering Augmentation and Training of large “site-and platform based” systems (i.e. EWS, LWPS,NSW, etc.). This individual will have primary focus in RTN OEM partners, supporting growth opportunities in Tucson, El Segundo and Albuquerque.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to engaging customers, creating opportunities, identifying/qualifying opportunities, shaping procurements and positioning to ultimately transition to capture with the leadership ability to ensure capture team’s focus throughout the pursuit period. The candidate will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships, understanding customer needs, offering innovative solutions and ultimately is responsible for bookings across the Product Support M&A business area of approx. $220M annually. Expansion of the Business Areas annual bookings and revenues is a key business strategy to enhance Product Support’s internal growth within the Raytheon Enterprise with particular concentration on Raytheon Missile Systems and Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems. This candidate is also responsible for providing leadership within the company, engaging the organization and building trusted partnerships with other parts of Raytheon as well as outside organizations critical to achieving success. This candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans in concert with the PS BDE and driving the organization to achieve growth and Bookings goals with its various customers. The BDM will be accountable to manage the allocated discretionary budgets for New Business Investment (NBI) including Selling, Bid and Proposals funding.
