Maintenance Technician

Repairs and maintains and a variety of equipment which may include: motor vehicles such as internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors; or heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts and container handlers. Works under general supervision. Requires specialized experience in diesel and automotive repair and maintenance. Installs specified new or reconditioned parts and/or makes required adjustments and reassembles complete unit. Disassembles engines and mechanical units to inspect parts and operating defects. Executes required preventive maintenance procedures. Performs inspections required by the company or government. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations. Proficiency is typically gained through 3 to 5 years of experience.

Maintenance Technician can troubleshoot, verify and repair complex/technical issues. Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex automotive faults/issues, a good understanding of engine performance and electrical.

Additional requirements:

ASE certifications preferred

Must be fluent in English

Must possess passport book with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining

Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
