Project Engineer - Marine
Position Description/Job Responsibilities
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Under broad direction, this position is responsible for all phases of planning and execution on a medium-sized (typically less than $200 million total installed cost) project or may be responsible for a segment of a larger project. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on meeting contract requirements. Possesses knowledge of the respective industry including Petrochemicals, Refining, LNG, etc. ranging in scope from pre-FEED, FEED to EPC.
Supervises personnel assigned to the project. Job role has budgetary responsibility.
Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years related experience, with average experience of 20 years.
Needs direct job experience in engineering oversight of Marine works, including permanent and temporary facilities, such as berths, jetties, marine offloading facility (MOF) and all associated systems.
Requires coordination of input from multiple parties and strict adherence to project requirements.
Should be familiar with U.S. domestic requirements for LNG work including but not limited to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) guidelines and approval process.
