Job Description: Local Site Security team member providing support to employees, new hires, and candidates. Candidate will assist with customer support to individuals with personnel security related questions and briefings in a sometimes high volume, as needed, environment. Candidate will obtain fingerprints, verification of citizenship, and badging photos of applicants and employees. Candidate will maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism while preparing, handling, and processing information. Duties will include supporting new employee orientations and hiring events. Some events take place on weekends.

Required Skills:

  • Preparation and presentation of written/verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel with tact and professionalism.
  • Detailed and accurate record-keeping, documentation, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • History of handling multiple tasks, sometimes under tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, email and updating and maintaining data in various types of databases platforms.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship is required).

Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience with JPAS.
  • Familiarity with large scale event support, including prescreening, directing participants where to go, providing briefings, and collecting information from attendees.
  • Prior security experience in an aerospace/defense contractor environment is highly desirable.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum Education Required: High School or equivalent
