Details

Working on Various infrastructure projects we are seeking an

enthusiastic Document Management person to be based in KBR Melbourne

Office. The focus of this role is to undertake all document manage functions

under the supervision of the Lead Document Manager.

This

position is a 12 month contract covering for maternity leave.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining project

documentation files consisting of technical data, engineering and supplier

drawings, technical specifications, purchase orders and other project-required

documents.

Updates and

maintains project document management record keeping system.

Prepares

transmittals and distributes data as directed.

Interfaces

with and associated with copy and distribution requirements per project

procedures.

Under direct

supervision, performs routine assignments.

Develops

core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.

Monitor compliance of

Document Management system processes.

Promote the Document

Management systems and processes.

Undertake regular

Performance Reviews to identify and address any issues and to identify training

and development requirements

Checking/validation/verification of all

documentation, including correct numbering, revisions, status, format, title

and legibility

Maintenance of electronic and original hard copy

files and document registers

Ensure timely processing and return of

documentation

Processing and recording incoming and outgoing

vendor data and engineering design drawings

Issue transmittal letters and receipts and

coordinate storage of project documentation

Maintain records of non-deliverable project data

Contribute towards the delivery of projects to the

agreed outcomes, industry and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum of 2 – 3

years’ experience in a document Management

position

Specific experience in Document Management software

including Documentum, Teambinder, Aconex would be advantage.

Proven

history contributing to a team effort in project environments

Ability

to quickly learn new IT systems and programs

Ability

to prioritize, multi-task and manage own workload

Tenacious

and hardworking attitude

Knowledge

of current document management standards
