The successful candidate will support all aspects of the DoD Industrial Security team in the execution of administering classified programs. This includes safeguarding, security education, oversight of DoD Closed Areas, understanding of classification management and supporting the DoD Industrial Security Manager. This position requires knowledge and understanding of the NISPOM and governing directives to ensure compliance. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate at all levels of leadership. Requires the ability to problem solve, make decisions that are in accordance with Raytheon policy and procedures and all compliance doctrine. Requires the ability to work independently, integrate with a dynamic, and fast pace environment. Conducts self-inspections, audits, briefings, debriefings and aid in the investigation of security violations. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required skills:

  • DoD Secret Security Clearance, investigation within 5 years; ability to obtain a Top Secret
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-start with minimum supervision
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Understanding of and a minimum of 4 years’ experience directly applying the NISPOM principles in a DoD environment.
  • Willing to travel on company business
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

  • Industrial Security Professional Certification (ISP)

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience
