Role Summary
Raytheon UK seeks a creative, driven senior digital marketing manager. This senior role will be responsible for increasing reach and engagement on digital and social media platforms to improve public brand perception and awareness for our UK company. The role will report to the Communications Director and will be responsible for developing and executing Raytheon UK’s digital and social media content strategy across its businesses and campaigns in the U.K.

The role will be thelead technologist for Communications, ensuring our technology savviness and integration of marketing software/digital tools into all aspects of Communications planning and delivery.

Role and responsibilities

  • This role will develop , define and report analysis to inform strategic and tactical decision making related to Raytheon UK websites and social media channels.
  • Collaboratively design digital marketing campaigns, including retargeting of external audiences.
  • Maintain and enforce editorial style guidelines.
  • Assign, write and edit content, including website articles, speeches, op-eds, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with business unit communicators and leaders to influence key targeted audiences, including development of story angles and microtargeted channel strategies.
  • Measure the impact of Raytheon’s communications through the use of website metrics, listening software and analytics tools
  • Gather, analyse and disseminate competitive intelligence
  • Present to internal stakeholders on content strategy, including assessment of impact and resulting shifts in execution.
  • This role will work in tandem with Raytheon Company and its business units to ensure unified branding and create content that supports business growth and its CSR values.
  • Support scooping and planning of new digital marketing initiatives and digital content strategy

Essential Skills
  • Strong storytelling skills, a passion for targeting audiences,
  • Ability to drive a Digital & Social Media strategy & plan, to enhance the business brand and engage a target audience
  • Deep knowledge of digital media practices and analytics, and an enthusiasm for experimenting with new communications technologies.
