Senior Principal Software Engineer/Scrum Master/Configuration Manager
Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is currently seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer/Scrum Master/Configuration Manager to lead the deployment and operations portion of a large, complex program in support of a new effort with the Department of the Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) to provide essential Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) capabilities for protecting against, searching and discovering, mitigating and engaging, and eradicating advanced cyberspace threats and vulnerabilities. The DCOMP solution integrates network security requirements, intelligence, and vulnerability analyses, with the outputs of mission analysis (i.e. mission statement, commander's intent, planning guidance, initial Commanders Critical Information Requirements/Essential Elements of Friendly Information, and assumptions), and other military decision-making process outputs. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the overall software product baseline from requirements development to deployment and operations while maintaining strict configuration control.
This position is contingent on award of the program.
Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI
Location: Northern VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for meeting all deployment and operations requirements on the program acting as the Scrum Master and Configuration Manager, and is responsible for the overall technical solution.
Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.
Designs, codes, tests, and implements tools for operations automation.
Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software.
Ten (10) years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing system analysis, development and implementation of business, mathematical, or scientific setting using a variety of information technology resources.
Ten years of agile experience with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master role
Two years of experience dealing with Configuration Management
Ten years of deployment and operations experience
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
Top Secret/SCI US Security Clearance
Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
