Manages the financial activities of a major program, sector or business area within a Division.

 
 
  • Evaluates business processes to establish complex financial models for a major program.
  • Creates a solid business case for large-scale capital investments.
  • Serves as the principal point of contact on all financial matters for a major program, sector or business area within a Division.
  • Oversees various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Provides management with financial analysis and reporting to ensure costs are controlled and profits are maximized.
  • Develops and administers program budgets and financial plans.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as DAR, FAR, SOX and other government regulations;
  • Participates in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications.
  • Supervises assigned Financial Analysts, and may oversee subordinate supervisors and/or managers.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of related finance or business analysis experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing a major program within a business unit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to succinctly brief executive leadership.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or Higher)
