Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is looking for a finance professional to join the Budgets & Rates team in support of the II&S Rates organization.
This position reports to the RTS Segment Lead, and may be located in Richardson, TX; Burlington, MA; Dulles, VA or Indianapolis, IN.

As a Senior Budget Analyst, you will work with various functions and levels within the business. Primary responsibilities will include: analyzing variances within indirect rate pools, direct and support labor rate analysis; supporting Forward Pricing Rate updates, including timely responses to DCAA audit questions; assisting with Raytheon Corporate Reporting requirements; and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Required Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills:
  • Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage simultaneously multiple detailed tasks and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to use analytics to understand trends and forecast future results as well as to understand the root cause of variances
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management effectively
  • Ability to present complex data concisely
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new business systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, BW, Control)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

Desired Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills:
  • Understanding of indirect rates and how they are applied
  • Finance experience in the aerospace/defense industry; familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience in BPS / RPlan, SAP and Control 9,
  • Familiarity with II&S pool structures (fringe, overhead, G&A, etc.)
  • Experience in SAP data extraction
