The Raytheon Precision Manufacturing (RPM) Planning and Program Management organization provides production planning and project management support for the fabrication of metal components for Raytheon programs. RPM Program Planners utilize project management methodologies, tools and techniques to develop delivery schedules, track product flow, develop cost forecasts and track cost performance in support of customer cost, quality and schedule commitments.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills: the ability to use sound judgment to comprehend multiple variables to solve problems, improve processes and to accurately forecast future activities
  • Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, and Shop Floor Management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple customers, levels of leadership and cross-functional disciplines
  • Ability to partner with program manager to ensure plan (cost, schedule, and technical requirements) is executing as planned
  • 2 years minimum SAP Experience, with emphasis in the area of sub contract procurement and material management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Skills
  • Ability to forecast and report budgets and schedules against customer requirements
  • Earned Value Management Certification
  • Program Management Level 6 Certification
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understand geometric tolerancing
  • Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling
  • 4 years of metal manufacturing experience
Education
  • BS in Science, Engineering, Business, or related area (or Associates with applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of BS)
