The Raytheon IIS Hardware and Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering team has professional openings for Infrastructure Engineers to support a large, complex program Department of the Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) to provide essential Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) capabilities for protecting against, searching and discovering, mitigating and engaging, and eradicating advanced cyberspace threats and vulnerabilities. The solution under development implements dedicated, prepositioned, forward compute, storage and network resources to host virtualized platforms that interface to the U.S. Army network to enable real-time protection of critical systems and to detect and remove anomalous threat activity.
The role of the Infrastructure Engineers is to design and implement the DCO capabilities using state-of-the-art DevOps tools and technologies on both private (OpenStack) and public (GovCloud) cloud infrastructures. An existing US Government TS/SCI security clearance is required as of day one for these positions.
Note: Candidates with a current US Government Top Secret security clearance are eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus if the clearance is confirmed and the candidate is hired by Raytheon
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 6 years of related work experience or 14 years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Discipline
