Job Description: The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user.
The Manager I Engineering Logistics assignment will be the sub-IPT lead for the Deployment of the PRISM iMRO capability on an international program, acting as the interface with both internal and external customers and managing the system setup and maintenance tasks. The candidate for this role will also be the department Point of Contact (POC) for interfacing with the Enterprise Depot Community of Practice team, responsible for identifying lessons learned and best practices from other businesses and applying them to IDS depot programs. Lastly, the candidate for this role will assist the hiring manager with identifying and deploying next generation technologies such as Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
This position requires 10% domestic travel and could require up to 10% international travel.
This position can be Salary Grade G09 or G10, based upon the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
BS/BA in a STEM or Business degree. 8 years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Two years related work experience can substitute for one year of education)
