Sr. Systems Administrator

Secret Clearance

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

 

-Monitoring of CPU, Memory, Drive space and overall health of the operating systems.

-Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues.

-Performing routine audits of systems and software.

-Performing backups and data recovery when needed.

-Applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes.

-Adding, removing and updating user account information where needed.

-Troubleshooting hardware/software related issues.

-Configuring, adding and deleting file systems when needed.

-Maintaining the virtualized server environment.

-Work on DISA STIG compliance.

-Modify Group Policy settings when needed.

-Run SCAP vulnerability scans when needed.

-Assist with managing/maintaining the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for imaging.

-Maintain documentation of all changes.

-Maintain the hardware and software listing of the servers.

-Additional duties as assigned. 

 

Required Skills

-VMWare 6.

-Windows Server 2012 R2 or above.

-Active Directory including Group Policy.

-MS Exchange 2016.

-Scripting (Preferably in PowerShell).

 

Additional Preferred Skills

-ACAS.

-HBSS.

-MDT.

Familiar with SCSI and Fiber Channel SAN Technology and its implementation.

 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

Must have a current IAT Level II 8570 Certification when hired and an active secret clearance.

Must have or willing to obtain a computing environment certification (Microsoft or RedHat) within 6 months of hire.

ITIL Foundation required within 90 days of hire.

Must be able to pass TESA.

Qualifications:

 

5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
