Job Summary
 
Performs a variety of professional and administrative functions including researching, interviewing, screening and referring job candidates for job openings.  
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Identifies necessary job duties, qualifications and skills for job openings
  • Performs background checks
  • Reviews and recommends qualified candidates for opening positions
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges, technical schools and job fairs.
  • Evaluates qualified candidates through the internet resumes from job boards and through advanced resume search techniques.
  • Ensures effective communications with Program Managers and administrative staff.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the Personal History File (PHF) to be given to the operating department within assigned department.
  • Lead team members for department to provide work direction and completion of assignments.
  • Guides, trains and develops less experienced staff in area of expertise.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to communicate well and influence individuals via the telephone or internet.
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting field, technical requirements and ability to match candidates
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MicroSoft applications.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of employment laws.
  • Primary responsibilities of this position will be to support Business Development efforts.
Experience & Education
  • Typically requires eight (8) years experience working in recruiting environment that is specialized to the department’s area. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. 
  • Two (2) years experience in recruiting field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years college.  
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
