Job Description: Circuit Card Assembly - Product Development Engineer.
Job Related Activities:
Effectively communicate technical knowledge regarding design and manufacturability of printed wiring boards (PWBs) and circuit card assemblies (CCAs). Use analytical tools to predict manufacturability performance prior to the program commitment of the design. Offer alternative design solutions to meet or exceed manufacturability and affordability goals. Role includes related technology selection and trade off analysis, performing producibility assessments, interface with other design stakeholders, interface with fabrication/assembly suppliers, and participation/communication of industry design and end product performance standards.
Must have at least eight years of experience with B.S. (12 years with Associates' Degree) related to the engineering/manufacturing fieldCircuit Card Assembly (CCA) or Printed Wiring Board (PWB) shop process/manufacturing engineering experience
Must be familiar with applicable industry (IPC) design and end product performance standards for circuit card assemblies and printed wiring boards including IPC-6012, IPC-2221, J-STD-001, IPC-7351
Ability to communicate technical knowledge and document descriptions of technical solutions for CCA and PWB technology products.
Ability to work in multiple discipline integrated product development team environments to successfully execute tasks and deliver high quality work products.
The position requires multi-tasking to support several programs concurrently and will require local travel between sites and also some remote travel as required.
Must have strong desire to learn and contribute in a teaming environment
Microsoft Office tools i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and VisioU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Familiarity with design and producibility tools for printed wiring board and circuit card assembly technologies (Mentor xDM, PCAT, POLAR SPEEDSTACK, VALOR NPI, etc.)Familiarity with Raytheon PWB/CCA technology Manufacturing Design Rules and Guidelines (MDRGs) Prior experience designing, and / or supporting aerospace/defense related productsExpertise in component selection for military and aerospace environmentsIPC CID or CID+ certificationExisting security clearance

B.S. Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related degree with 8 years' experience
A.S. Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related degree with 12 years' experience
Advanced degree in a related field
