This entry level position will function in support of the Classified and Sensitive Materials Management (CSSM) office as part of the Industrial Security Team. The Industrial Security Specialist I will be responsible for the properly receipt, dispatch and accounting of all Department of Defense classified material for the El Segundo, CA facility in support of multiple business units within Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems. This position will wrap, package, receive, dispatch and work with the CSMM Lead to ensure proper handling and dissemination for all classified materials along with other duties as assigned. Successful candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and work in a high stress, fast-paced environment. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required skills:

  • 0-2 years of previous experience working with classified information/material.
  • Demonstrated ability to cross train and work with a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
