NOTE: This is a temporary position expected to be 18 months in duration, depending on business needs. There are currently two (2) positions available, and an active US DoD Secret clearance is required for both.Job Description:
The person hired will be engaged in the development and testing of real-time embedded systems software for several of Raytheon's Electronic Warfare Systems product lines. The majority of the work will be on embedded systems development, as well as some work on desktop mission planning and system test applications.
All work will be done on-site at Raytheon's Goleta, California location.Work schedule can be either a 9/80 or 5/40, to be agreed upon between the employee and the manager.Required Skills/Basic Qualification:
An active US DoD Secret clearance or higher is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as follows:
•Embedded systems software development using C,C++ and/or C#
•Developing, testing, and integrating software
•Use of source control and automated build tools.Desired Skills/Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in electronic warfare and/or mission planning applications.Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related STEM discipline.
