Description:The selected candidate will join the LMA Classified Cybersecurity Team as an Information System Security Manager and/or Officer (ISSM/O) supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) to ensure classified information systems (IS) meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives. Interpret the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) in determining technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and ensure proper security implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require extensive technical expertise and ingenuity.

Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.

Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents.

Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in Information Assurance requirements.

Interface with senior level internal/external customers to identify requirements and provide problem resolution. Perform other associated duties as required.

Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance, based upon a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check (NAC/LC) conducted within the last five years and access eligibility for Special Access Programs.

Subject to routine government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information throughout their employment as required by the job.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in at least one of the following: system administration, information assurance, and/or cybersecurity

Possess DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+ CE, CAP)
Desired Skills:
Experience as an Information System Security Manager/Officer (ISSM/O)

Experience with Risk Managed Framework (RMF) or Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements

Experience supporting Special Access Required (SAR) security environments

Familiar with STIG Viewer, SCAP, Retina, SPLUNK, Nessus Security Center, and ACAS
