Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is currently seeking a senior Cyber Security Architect to be a key contributor in the implementation of cyber engineering on a classified special access program. This architect will be critical to establishing long-term Raytheon & customer vision in defining an architecture that fulfills current security requirements & is extensible to meet future needs. Direct interaction with senior Raytheon, program, & customer personnel requires professional communication and collaboration at all organizational levels. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the full-lifecycle of the development program including CONOPs development, requirements development, architecture, design, integration, test, certification, and continuous monitoring of products.

Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance/a current SSBI.

Required Skills:
•Minimum 12 years’ experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time cybersecurity-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Special Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
•Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise in the Cybersecurity domain, to include knowledge of security standards, methods, and policies; risk and threat analysis; technical security safeguards; and operational security measures.
•Strong background and proven track record in engineering execution, managing customer requirements, and have served in key technical leadership positions
•Experience interfacing directly with customers and management teams including conducting briefings and technical meetings for management and customer representatives
•Comprehensive understanding of security architecture, security engineering solutions, deployments and accreditation
•Proven success as an engineering leader and proven experience in a related whole lifecycle Systems Engineering role, developing complex systems solutions within a Cyber, Intelligence and Security environment
•Comprehensive understanding of Risk Management Framework and Program Protection policies, procedures, processes, and requirements including the use of Risk Management tools and techniques
•Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
•Demonstrated experience working effectively in matrix environment including working collaboratively with multiple teams across agencies and physical locations
•Strong communication skills, written, oral and listening skills; strong business acumen and diverse business perspective; ability to think logically and strategically
•Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at various levels including the leadership team, and customers
•Solid understanding of Systems Engineering Industry Best Practices and other business processes
•Highly proficient in evaluating the security posture of Network and System environments, and providing corrective recommendations.
•Experience with certification and accreditation of cryptographic, anti-tamper, and other security-related engineering products / systems
•Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies and trusted products.
•Experience using security-relevant tools and devices for security auditing, network security, host/server security, communication security, and policy management.
•Experience mentoring junior-mid level cybersecurity engineers
•Requires advanced industry-recognized professional cybersecurity certifications (DoD 8570
•Requires an active TS/SCI clearance or an SSBI within the past 5-7 years
•U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
•Project skills including cost, schedule, supplier management, risk, and opportunity assessment
•Experience and knowledge in onboarding, tuning and implementing enterprise security solutions (Tenable Security Center and Nessus, RSA NetWitness Security Analytics, and the DoD’s HBSS solution)
•Experience analyzing audit log data and determine compliance with published standards
•Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, VBA, Ruby) or programming languages (e.g. C/C++ or Java) to automate security testing
•Current IAM1 or greater cybersecurity certification per DoD 8570.01-Manual

Education Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics
•Advanced Degree(s) (M.S. and above) in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics STRONGLY PREFERRED
