The Manager II Material Program Manager (MPM) will support the Joint Standoff Weapon Program (JSOW) by developing and participating in program and enterprise level supply chain strategies and plans, and ensuring the placement and receipt of material requirements to those strategies and plans are in support of program requirements. This individual is the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations and the Supply Chain organization in ensuring that the factory requirements are being met. This position will be a permanent position located in Tucson Rita Rd location

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Developing material strategies
  2. Preparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs)
  3. Working closely with production control and procurement to ensure purchase requisitions and POs support factory demand, identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to material requirements
  4. Help manage material financials, including sales, cash flow and EACs; support Product Line Reviews, Supplier Management Reviews and Program Business Reviews
  5. Participate in R6? projects (both Supply Chain and program)
  6. Resolving Supply Chain issues for the program

Required Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or a related field is required
  • At least 8 years of professional related experience which should encompass a strong knowledge of supply chain, material procurement, MRP, production control, material receiving, material estimating and finance
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • A good working knowledge of program contracts and proposals with experience converting customer requirements and terms & conditions into procurement requirements for suppliers
  • Knowledge and application of PRISM
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of management working with both internal and external customers
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Master’s degree Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or a related field and/or additional professional certifications desired
  • Existing Secret Clearance
  • MPM certification
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform
  • Strong presentation skills
  • The ability to work in an IPT environment
