Job Description: Role is to supervise 10-20 assembly/test operators, and manage a cross functional support team to ensure the production plans for the factory are achieved each month. This position will be a change agent for continual improvement within the factory. Also, this individual will develop and maintain performance metrics for their teams and ensure that their production lines are meeting the production schedule and cost proposed to their customers. This candidate will be tasked with implementing continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing principles, and be capable of motivating their team to be involved in these improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant operations experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with lean implementation and information technology systems
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong team and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success)
  • Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Excellent communication

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and low assembly costs
  • Experience with manufacturing processes within in a clean room environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of ATFLIR systems and components

Required Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
