U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
BS degree in one of the following: Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or other STEM degree.
Strong academic and analytical background with course work and independent research
Ten (10) years of applied work experience in your field of study
Recent work experience leading a team or managing a project
Must be willing to relocate to Tucson, AZ (comprehensive relocation package available)
Must have an existing or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense issued Secret Security clearance.
Desired Education, Skills and Experience:
Masters or Ph.D. in a STEM degree
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines
Strong presentation skills
Experience managing budgets and meeting financial objectives
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
