This Systems Engineer / Mission Engineer (ME) position supports the definition and development of the engineering solution for the mission area. The Systems Engineer / ME is responsible for developing an optimized design solution utilizing system capabilities in Power Generation, Thermal Control, Guidance and Navigation, Communications, spacecraft I/O and On-Orbit operations.
The Systems Engineer / ME is responsible for ensuring maximum system value is captured in the design and meets the customer and program defined requirements to enable the accurate delivery of the systems full capability under all required conditions.
The Systems Engineer / ME is responsible for ensuring that all Mission Engineering design efforts incorporate the necessary aspects for defining the resources and methodologies necessary to verify and demonstrate these capabilities by supporting the design, development and test of a complex system.
The Systems Engineer / ME is responsible for supporting the program in developing a viable solution and in meeting all commitments including technical performance, schedule, and cost along with ensuring customer satisfaction with the system design. The Systems Engineer / ME coordinates collaborative development activities between the component development teams and users in a pro-active manner.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering or related field
Working experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD)
Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
Engineering degree and/or experience.
- Demonstrated ability in one of the following areas:
• CONOPS development
• Mission Planning
• Mission Analysis
• Small satellite development
- Proficiency in:
• Cameo / Rhapsody
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Team player able to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
