Description:This individual will perform as the technical subject matter expert for the F-35 Sustainment Supply Operational Team. The applicant will primarily coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and the completion of projects by providing Supply Chain Management (SCM) technical assistance in developing and executing all PHS&T guidance and direction to support the overall development of F-35 sustainment operations worldwide. The individual will act as the Supply Chain Management Subject Matter Expert as part of the Site Activation team where he or she will be responsible for the successful stand up of supply chain activities at customer locations. The candidate must be comfortable briefing audiences of 50+ persons at a time and willing to travel 30-40% of the time for both domestic and international assignments. The individual must be willing to accommodate short notice travel assignments to domestic and international locations. The individual in this position will coordinate IPT program spending and manpower activities for the PHS&T team, and ensure all F-35 customers and partners are apprised of F-35 sustainment requirements and directions. The successful candidate will interact with internal and external customers on a technical level in an IPT environment. The candidate reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. The successful candidate will have experience in supply chain and logistics management, warehouse management and design, and knowledge of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Individual Unique Identification (IUID) technologies. He or she will provide SCM assistance in the development and update of the Facilities Requirements Documents (FRD) as Autonomic Logistics concepts and characteristics continue to evolve and mature by evaluating and approving design changes, specification and drawing releases associated with warehousing standup and support infrastructure. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Must have strong project management and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast paced and fluid environment. Candidate must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and have a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The responsibilities of the position include:
•Provide technical direction for all Transportation and Handling issues to include licensing, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), hazardous cargo, classified handling, RFID, and customs issues
•Serve as the focal point on specific transportation issues in the movement of spares through the Lockheed Martin (LM) Transportation Management System
•Provide subject matter expert (SME) support as needed for Supply Chain Management in the site survey and site activation processes
•Assist in PHS&T requirements reviews and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development for contract changes and engineering change proposals.
•Analyze and resolve customer-raised PHS&T and SCM sustainment, site survey, and activation issues and gaps
•Brief customer, program leadership, and peers on program and project status
•Coordinate IPT participation/Integration with Propulsion Systems Contractors
•Coordinate with supply FSR's and act as a backfill if required
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree

• Technical project management experience with multiple deadlines and customer requirements.

• Technical knowledge of Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) processes and concepts in an international environment to include ITAR restrictions, licensing requirements, handling of "Dirty Cargo, i.e. classified, hazardous, etc." customs, 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Management, and freight forwarding operations.

• Advanced Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

• Experience communicating with internal and external program management.

• Experience with warehouse management, flow, processes, and design.

• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• SAP /ALIS knowledge.
• Knowledge of international and U. S. Government customer supply operations.
• Knowledge of Performance Based Logistics Concepts.
• Warehousing and Freight Forwarding experience and/or selection of.
• Knowledge of taxes and tariffs, customs, and licensing.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
