Description:This HRBP will be located at the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Palm Beach, FL site providing HR support to the Submersibles and Sensors (S2) sub-market segment within the Navigation Surveillance and Unmanned Systems (NSU) portfolio. Additionally, this role will serve as the HR Site Lead for this facility of 300 employees and direct HRBP support for Operations, Program Management, and Engineering & Technology. The HR Site Lead portion of the role will include but not be limited to: coaching and confidant for the Palm Beach Site and S2 Leadership, development of engagement, culture and retention strategies and rhythms, manpower and workforce planning strategies, external facing HR presence in the community as required, etc. As a trusted advisor, the chosen candidate will be able to positively influence and impact the organization by building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions. With a comprehensive understanding of the business strategy and the RMS Culture of Accountability, this position will assist in shaping HR solutions to fit business needs.
The selected individual will be responsible for talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, organizational development/effectiveness, and/or training and development. Must be a self-starter with the ability to exercise strong influencing and decision making skills as well as a good communicator who shares knowledge and best practices to drive organizational efficiency and integration. Must be able to effectively build relationships and interact with executive leadership.
Moderate travel as needed is required. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading special projects as assigned.
