Description:Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an entry level Program Planner to support the FBM program. As our new Program Planning team member, you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and has the uncanny ability to influence and foster collaboration and teamwork that generate impactful results. You will be part of a team to plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.
As a Program Planner you will interface with Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program.
Our Program Planning team works with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders. We assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required. We serve as liaisons by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
• Bachelors degree with no prior experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Familiarity with a scheduling tool such as MS Project, Real Time Project, or Primavera
• Customer service experience
• Presentation experience
• Experience analyzing data
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
