This entry level role is in our Electronic Packaging Computer Aided Design (EPCAD) department. The Engineering Aide role will assist the EPCAD Librarian. The Librarian duties include

* Creating detailed Symbols and Footprints for components to be entered into the database for the DxDesigner schematic capture tool. Components symbols and footprint modeling is accomplished using the LP Wizard tool.
* Working with Component Engineering and Electrical Design Engineers to identify datasheets and part requirements
* Working with our Dallas site to generate detailed footprints for the Cadence schematic capture tool

The candidate must possess high organizational skills, communicate effectively and be versed with Microsoft Office products (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint).
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a detailed worker, capable of following written and oral instructions from engineering drawings and provide feedback to Engineering when developing symbols and models.
