SAIC has an opening for a Systems Analyst/End User Support position. The candidate will be a self-starter providing on-site support for the budget development process and ad-hoc financial analysis for a Marine Corps client in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include: This Analyst/End User Support position will provide on-site support for the budget development process and ad-hoc financial analysis for the Marine Corps in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities include:

-
The implementation, maintenance and modification of a COTS enterprise budget modeling tool.

-
Intimate knowledge and understanding of Excel macros, formulas and pivot tables, as well as general scripting and programming principles will help to minimize the learning time of the COTS tool.

-
Provide on- site helpdesk support for Headquarters Marine Corps Programs and Resources.

-
Diagram and translate user requirements into application capabilities using IBM TM1 scripting language

-
Perform file back-ups on Windows 2012 R2 servers.

-
Maintain TM1 and server user accounts.

-
Test software in pre-production environment.

-
Plan and deploy software updates.

-
Regularly load manpower data into TM1 models for monthly costings and budget submissions.

-
Provide user training and maintain user reference guides.

-
Utilize Remedy IT Service Management to initiate and resolve tickets.

-
Build reports using SQL via Cognos Reports Studio and Analysis Studio 2+ years of related experience

The position requires excellent communication skills as the candidate will be the liaison between the client finance analysts and the supporting SAIC project IT team in McLean and Quantico, VA. This position requires strong analytical skills of the underlying data and knowledge of dimensional modeling to facilitate support to the customer by identifying problems and determining appropriate corrective action. The candidate will participate in other systems engineering tasks: testing new models or modifications to existing models and contributes to system documentation, such as: Requirements, Progress Reports, and Training documents. On site at the Pentagon M-Th; Telework on Fridays.

Qualifications:
Education:

-
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' related experience. Four additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Skills:

-
Excellent communication skills to provide support to client data management and processes for software system implementations with focus on data mapping, and customer support.

Ability to translate customer needs communicated in layman’s terms into solutions within the COTS tool

-
Must be a detail- oriented and organized team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a demanding customer-facing environment

-
Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Excel; specifically the ability to create links, macros, and formulas.

-
Must possess general knowledge of scripting/programming principles

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of federal government accounting procedures, practices, and systems
