The ACT Operations Lead will be responsible for the execution of processes and tools to expand product and service offerings that support the IIS technology strategy. This position must have the ability to develop measurable, time-phased plans to further the exploration and capture of new business opportunities and management of key internal and external partnerships. Specific areas of focus include: working across IIS to understand strategy, capabilities, and opportunities; managing an investment portfolio; managing/directing customer engagements and outreach; supporting new business proposal development; resource management across matrix organizations (manage cadence of resources needed).
Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 12 years of professional related working experience, with demonstrated experience leading large, cross functional, matrixed teams
  • Experience blending strategy and execution that translates into long-term business growth
  • Demonstrated ability in new business investigation, planning and analysis
  • Development of business models, e.g. Joint Ventures (JVs) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Track-record of successful technology development coupled with strong interest and enthusiasm for emerging technology
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership; ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of management and customers
  • Thorough understanding and implementation of business and program leadership best practices and processes to include capture management, engineering development, production operations and mission support activities
  • Working knowledge of business and project management tools and processes such as IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasting and EACs
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • TS/SCI Clearance

  • Demonstrated experience as a change agent, able to energize organizations to achieve beyond expectations
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time criticality
  • Ability to develop customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as Contracts, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other support organizations
  • PM Tier III Certification or ability to obtain Tier III Certification within one year of being in role

Required Education:
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or Business and minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
