Intelligence Knowledge Manager - Senior - Military veterans preferred

Working with the US Forces, Korea Intelligence Directorate (USFK J2) and in the Joint Intelligence Operations Center – Korea (JIOC-K), contractors will manipulate, design, develop, and program databases, web applications, and other like processes in order to facilitate, monitor, and analyze the flow of intelligence among relevant stakeholders.

1. Assist in monitoring, analyzing and developing intelligence processes within the region.
2. Assist in gathering requirements and modifying web-based tools.
3. Update and maintain intelligence dissemination SharePoint sites on various networks.
4. Analyze standing intelligence requirements and modify tools for associating target activities.
5. Assist in monitoring Requests for Information (RFI) during exercises and perform duties as the Theater Manager.
6. Assist in the monitoring and analysis of data flows, systems and networks; recommend improvements and solutions and correct errors that impede such flows.
7. Assist in the design, development and maintenance of the Knowledge Management and Dissemination System Database design, and user interface development.
8. Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements to enhance and improve user mission essential database tools.
9. Assist in designing, building, training, and installing intelligence analysis database tools.
10. Manipulate and load data, information and knowledge into structured content for use in analytical tools.
11. Coordinate with the customer Agency Knowledge Managers to improve intelligence processes and sharing across the Intelligence Community.
12. Assist the customer Knowledge Management interest in internal and external meetings governing staff processes, intelligence information flow and target knowledge integration.
13. Maintain user accounts and accesses on the Web Portals and web based tools.
14. Maintain user accesses to intelligence information on the network.
15. Assist in the approval of user accounts and product posting requests on the Web Portals.
16. Maintain the SharePoint presence.
17. Gather user and organizational requirements for information and knowledge sharing and management solutions.
18. Assist in designing and creating information sharing solutions.
19. Assist in designing and creating information and knowledge management solutions.
20. Assist in training users in the use of SharePoint.
21. Gather requirements for information technology tools to support specific organizational requirements and tasks, such as MM&P database.
22. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
23. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
24. Participates in special projects as required.

Required:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience as in intelligence analysis, operations, and knowledge management.
• Associate’s Degree with 10 years’ experience or High School Diploma with 12 years’ experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s Degree requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.

Desired:

• Korean language capability desired.

• Experience in the Korean Area of Operation highly desired.
