Job Description:

Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) Business is seeking a Program Cost Scheduling and Control Analyst for the Qatar Early Warning Radar (QEWR), Qatar Air and Missile Defense Operations Center (ADOC), Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Domestic Programs, ANTPY-2 and Radar Sustainment Contract (RSC).

These are Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) contracts, with Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business as the primary customer. These programs generate approximately $12M of revenue per year. This candidate will oversee all financial, accounting, business planning and program control activities.
The ideal candidate will ensure they provide accurate and insightful management analysis with recommendations enabling the programs to execute according to our cost and schedule baseline, while maximizing financial objectives for the company and its shareholders.
As a strategic business partner, the successful candidate will join the Product Support and Navigation, Weather and Services (NWS) Mission Area, collaborating with the IIS PMO and IDS Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads. This position will be responsible for coordination and preparation of various Product Area and Mission Area level financial deliverables, including 5-Year and Annual Operation Plans, monthly financial forecasts and operational reviews, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Baseline Management, EAC’s, Monthly SDRLs, and all aspects of governance and compliance.
In this position, the candidate will be exposed to many different real world business tools such as the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Annual Operating Plan preparation using the RPLAN system, and the cost proposal process. The candidate will also utilize business software packages such as SAP, APEX, Business Warehouse, and Microframe Program Manager (MPM) to provide technical analysis for financial reporting of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and variance analysis. The candidate will work closely with Program Management and in conjunction with Control Account Managers (CAMs). This position will be an integrated part of a fast paced finance team where multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements.

This position is uniquely able to give a wide sampling and vast exposure to potential assignments within Finance and Business ranging from Program Cost and Control, Proposals and Estimating, Financial Planning and Analysis, to Budgets and Planning.


Required Skills:

  • Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP, APEX, RPLAN, Business Warehouse, EDIT+, Microframe Program Manager (MPM), ACES
  • At least 4 years of related finance experience in Program Control, EVMS, Accounting, FP&A or Pricing
