Technology Lead, you will be a
member of the technology team developing and delivering
digital solutions; information management & security; and systems
architecture across our business. You will also be expected to be continually
involved in looking at ways in which we can use technology on existing
contracts to increase our profitability and win additional work.
Typical tasks will include:
Business development – pre-sales technical advisory support on systems and solutions
Business acquisition – development of technical and commercial proposals to clients
Operations – system design, implementation, delivery and ongoing support to operations
Business systems – design and delivery of systems, tools and analytics used to manage the business unit; selection and management of specialist technology suppliers; coordination with corporate departments
an articulate professional with strong technology experience you’ll be
instrumental in taking our technology to the next level. Passion and energy are
as important as curiosity and forward thinking. You’ll need to have current domain
knowledge and a significant understanding of the latest advances and trends in
the technology marketplace. Not only will you have your finger on the pulse of
the industry, you’ll also be able to harness the appropriate developments for
the benefit of KBR.
Proven ability to manage the delivery of solutions and services, including the oversight of complex project mobilisations.
Good commercial acumen, with demonstrable experience in delivering robust,
cost effective technology solutions to business challenges.
Good negotiation skills able to influence to achieve a positive outcome.
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
with the ability to present complex data and arguments in a way that is accessible to everyone.
Able to operate at a management level both within the organisation and with clients and potential clients.
Experience in technical and commercial proposal development for solutions and services.
Excellent relationship management skills, ablewith internal and eernal stakeholders.
Good knowledge of GS EMEA markets and customers.
A high level of motivation, flexibility,
drive, and personal commitment.
Responsibilities and Duties

Hold or able to obtain UK MOD and Home Office based security clearance.
Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent in an information technology, software engineering, business, or a related subject
Membership of a professional
institute – e.g. BCS, CITP etc.
