Raytheon Global BusinessServices(GBS)has an opening in Facilities for an Operations Specialist. The Operations Specialist will manage installation and repair activities, respond to trouble calls and customer requests, and coordinate daily maintenance and operations activities in the assigned areas.


  • Operate, troubleshoot and coordinate the repair and maintenance of site infrastructure and equipment
  • Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure safe and proper operation
  • Maintain systems documentation including code compliance records, maintenance & repair history, and safety audit records
  • Communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, subcontractors, customers, and site management
  • Perform other general plant and building maintenance duties as required
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in installation and repair activities
  • Knowledgeof city, state,andfederalcodesconcerningfacilitiesand electrical work,including local buildingcodes, the National Electric Code, andOSHAregulations
  • Read and understand floorplans,schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction/shopdrawings
  • Proven problem solving skills relating to troubleshooting and repairing facilities equipment issues in a manufacturing environment
  • Safely navigate a variety of work areas, including ladders, roofs, elevated platforms and confined spaces
  • Strongcommitment tosafety,ethics, and quality
  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
  • Current security clearance
  • Plan and execute small projects, equipment repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with maintenance management database systems
  • Trade or vocational school
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
